THE NUMBER OF PLACES IS LIMITED!! Katus d.o.o. for accounting services, Vela Luka branch office, invites all interested persons to sign-up for a free education programme organised as part of the project “Cloud of knowledge for an island of possibilities – acquiring market-demand competencies via e-learning”, code number (Up.01.3.01.00079) which is implemented with the partners: Novi Otok society and the LAG 5 local action group. The project is financed 100% from the European Social Fund, operational programme Efficient Human Resources 2014 – 2020, Local initiative for fostering employment – Phase III.
Lecturers:
All education and training sessions are held by lecturers and external associates of the Virtus college from Split, which has been a central place for all those wishing to improve their personal and professional skills, offering educational possibilities for a wide range of sectors and over 165 adult education programmes for the past ten years. All programmes are taught by lecturers with many years of experience for each training programme. Most lecturers are also teachers from Korčula secondary schools. The aim of each training session is to provide participants with high quality theoretical and practical lessons, in order to make them more competitive on the labour market.

Requirements for enrolment:
- You are younger than 29 years old and actively seeking work, or you are an unemployed person who belongs to a vulnerable group according to the definition of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Strategy
- You have completed primary school (for reception desk clerk – secondary school), you live on the island, and wish to receive training for one of these professions
The theoretical part of the training programme will take place from 12 October to 30 November in Vela Luka, Community centre, 1st floor, on Mondays to Fridays from 5 to 8:00 pm. The practical part of the training will take place at the employer/hospitality company and will be scheduled in agreement with the participant.
